We found our dream home, and made an offer.

~*~

The seller said yes,

The bank said yes.

We’ve been approved for our loan…

~*~

Our current home has become so devalued in this economy that our funding was not enough to pay for the Appalachian Farmlet.

I have no words.

It is Official: we made them an offer they couldn’t refuse

Yeeeee-HAAA!

OUR OFFER ON THE APPALACHIAN FARMLET WAS ACCEPTED!

Can you feel my excitement?

Soon the antiquated barn with ‘good bones‘ will be fixed and those horse shoes on the wall will be the first and easiest thing done…

I will have to nail them all facing up so all the good luck doesn’t run out.  😉

And I simply must make friends with the pygmy pony too.  I think I will grow  carrots just for him!

An offer they [might] refuse

We are on pins and needles again.  We have now made our offer on the new Farmlet!  We hope they accept it, but they could counter-offer or even refuse.

So, now we wait!

I know Tom was on another wavelength when he wrote these words, but they seem apropos to the way we are feeling right now.  😉

Searching  the streets looking for just the right one, surveying his trophies, musing, “How easy it used to be.”  She walked the gutter, her back to him, thumb out.  He pulled alongside.  Before he could ask she slid over the car door and into the seat in a fluid movement.

Smiling, joking, laughter, he shy, she bold.   They drove on for a while, neither cared where they might end up; each knew their destination would be secluded.

Noticing his photographs she quipped, “Old girl friends?”

He replied, “You might say that.”

Smiling,  they  thought, “This’s gonna’ be easy.”

NOTE:  This was a walk on the wild side for me.  I took one look at the photo and there I was.

Are you shocked?

I was!
