Photo Friday: business Alabama style

After all the events of the past few weeks I feel the need to share a bit of humor with “all ya’ll.”

Here for your enjoyment a photo Bob took at work.

Thanks for the laugh. LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!! 😀 This could also mean the boss expects everyone to continue working even when they are taking a break. 😀

Yes, we are in redneck country… 🙂 We just recently replaced the toilet in the girls bathroom and they actually asked if we could put the old one in the yard and plant flowers in it!? Needless to say it is sitting at the curb awaiting pick up…
    Have a wonderful weekend!

Awww Mom! Don’tcha think some patunias would dress it real nice?
Truthfully, I have seen the toilet as planter many times in California too…
often with a mailbox attached to a pole and sticking out of the tank!

The other favorite is the old Wringer Washer as planter.

But, I can’t say much see’n as I have the old well pump a sittin’ in the middle of my
vegetable patch now can I? (Note however that the flowers are planted around it not in it.)

A favorite thing to do on the Navajo Reservation in AZ: After the white men built the government houses for the Navajos complete with a bathroom the Navajos would build their outhouses out back of their new-fangled white-folks-built-houses, rip the toilet out of the bathroom and put it out front planted with flowers.

I have to say, if you run a google search on “toilet planters” there are a million people with pictures and instructions out there on “how to do it!” So I guess it is a very popular idea, even if it doesn’t appeal to the rest of us. 🙂

So how about that? Go on; say something!
