REFILL THE KIBBLE BIN AND FEED THE DOGS

Stressed about how to clean it up, I realized that they self clean and eat chicken stuff…

I grabbed the broom and dust pan.

You’ve got to love self-cleaning messes! Anything that lands on my kitchen floor and stays for longer than the 3-second rule is automatically designated dog treats!

Kate, true! Under normal circumstances Walker would have gladly cleaned this up for me. However, He gets one cup of kibble with 3 Tbs. of chicken, duck or pumpkin “gravy” (no grain thickener in it) mixed in twice a day. Little dog gets 1/2 cup with 1.5 Tbs mixed in twice a day. Not to be denied, I did leave them little bits in the back and behind that they took several days rooting out and consuming! There was no stopping them entry when they heard the pantry door open. 😀

      Linda,
For dogs, maybe there isn’t a time limit? That is to say; it took seconds for Walker to get there. Then add in the time spent shooing him away, while I tried to get it all up before he HOOVERED IT FOR ME. . . Yeah, 5 minutes at a minimum. 😉

    Oops!

We once left a newly delivered 15kg sack of kibble on the ground floor where the dogs didn’t normally go (this was when we still lived in France). Taz (RIP) broke into the bag a ate about a kilo of it before coming back upstairs and throwing up. His spleen was never the same after that.
