One Shots: Last Summer

I SAW AN INDIAN IN THE HOSPITAL PARKING LOT

Not vintage, but a real beauty.

oOo

My father-in-law rode an original Indian in 1937.

 This was his helmet.

Linda, it is old and revered, by some, as the better bike when compared to the Harley Davidson. As for me? I did a bit of riding and road traveling on a Harley with my ex husband… But, that’s a but of mud from the past. Were I younger, I might enjoy riding one of the vintage Indian bikes from the 1940s. Leaner, lighter, but still fast! However, at my age I think watching someone else ride is more my speed. 🙃

Riding horses or motorcycles both are appealing to me, but I’ve never done either and don’t intend to, for different reasons. Of course, I’m one of those who rarely drives over 65, so there’s that. It’s less age than a preference for ‘slower.’ You can see more that way!

Riding on the back of the Harley, for me, was more about the wind in your face and an unobstructed view as you got there… That said, some of the witless risk taking by the driver (and his buddies) was why I gave him up and never looked back. 😱😱😱

So how about that? Go on; say something!
