Squirrel Tease!

Before the kerfuffle of the clear-cutting on the Mountain I had taken these pictures of a squirrel teasing Claus.  He had Claus captivated for over a half an hour or more!  In each picture I am amazed at the squirrels apparent lack of fear.

The pictures had to be taken through our dinning room window and so are not as clear as I would like, but oh so fun!

Have a fun weekend, Ya’ll!

Lori, I have seen them race circles about the big oak tree trunks teasing each other, but must say this guys adrenaline level must have been in high gear that morning!

OMG! Those pictures are so great!!! My squirrels are nowhere near as fearless as that little guy is!

I humbly ask for your permission to use the Face Off picture for my Saturday Squirrel feature next week, please! I will give credit and post a link to your blog! I think my readers will love that picture as much as I do! Plus, since January 21st is National Squirrel Appreciation Day, the image of a cat and a squirrel peacefully sharing a tree is a perfect tie in!

Bill, of course you can use it and I’m glad you enjoyed the series I was hoping you would. 😀 My only regret is my dirty dinning room window. (I must remedy that when the weather warms again.)

I have to say, that like you, I’d never seen any of our squirrels act in such a fearless fashion before that day. He might well be one in a million.

Claus and this adrenaline powered squirrel have been featured on The Evil Squirrel’s Nest in honor of Squirrel Appreciation Day!

You can follow the ‘pingback’ above to get to the ESN blog!

    Thank you Evil Squirrel!

So how about that? Go on; say something!
