Dear Friends,
Poor Bob has been very sick from all the pollen in the air. Outside everything is covered with a dusty, yellow haze. He has been trying to sleep sitting up for almost a week now, and had to take off work Thursday and Friday. He is taking five prescription medications, and using my old nebulizer to give himself breathing treatments. I saved it for emergencies and have only used it twice since we moved. Glad I did!
It is hell for him, but equally so for me. Last night at dinner I thought I might have to call 911 when he began coughing, wheezing and gasping for air. Eventually, he was able to calm down the spasms, but was still unable to sleep laying down.
He is exhausted and his ribs hurt.
If you are the praying type please think of him today.
Thank you.
Lynda
Really feel for you both. Get over it soon Bob – quite frightening at times. Sending easing vibes.
All the prayers you want and need… This would be one good time to be living near the sea.
That looks and sounds horrific. My thoughts are with you and Bob.
Do you have an air purifier? Highly worth it if you don’t. At least one. They aren’t very expensive. It’s really helped me. Hang in there, the good days will come.
I am in midst of asthma attack so can identify – praying for you guys!
Hang in there. Pollen season will pass.
So sorry to hear how much Bob and you have been suffering lately. It sounds horrible. How exhausting!
Allergies are bad here too, though we aren’t suffering anything close to what Bob has going on! Here’s to some nice spring showers to help keep all of that yellow haze stuff from going airborne!!
Lynda, I wrote you an email a while back when you wrote about COPD, where its been sitting ever since, waiting because of my indecision… Sending it directly to you now and hope it helps. Hugs to you both, Deb
The pollen is everywhere and it covers every surface. How horrible to live in an area so full of the gunk with allergies. I hope y’all get some sleep soon.
We are Roo, and thank you!
I’m sorry to hear Bob struggles with the pollen so much. Prayers from here!
Thank you, Pattie! He is doing so much better now, but another prayer is never wasted with his condition. ❤
My cousin suffered with COPD. I know it’s not fun.
No, and it is so hard to watch a loved one suffer. So glad he’s better with his meds and breathing treatments.
