Fun while it lasted!

This morning, for an hour, it snowed with abandon…

By the way, Frellnick and Polly are now inseparable, and doesn’t Frellnick look  proud?  I guess their little honeymoon in the back yard did the trick…

He doesn’t take any guff off of Georgie now!

If you wouldn’t mind, could you send some of that up here? You’ve got more white on the ground than we do):
And SO glad to hear there’s peace in the barnyard!
We never had any on the farm, so thanks – I really enjoyed learning (from everyone: ) about Goosie Habits!

Yay for Polly! I thought she had chosen to be a widower for the rest of her days. That is a lotta days for a goose as I have read they can live to be 30 years old!!!

Yes, our weather is very strange, everywhere, or so I hear tell. I hadn’t thought of P and F in terms of Valentines, but you are so right! I hope there will be goslings in our future, but you just can’t be certain in a first year male. We’ll see!

Sounds like your chickens are smart enough to know where “warm and dry” is. Taking cover from the cold wet snow sounds like a good idea to me.
It snowed here for about an hour this morning too,and then it stopped.
Didn’t stick to the roads and barely covered the grass. Which is fine with me. Too cold to want to shovel a driveway!

Where we come from if you want snow you have to drive up to the mountains to get it…
You and every other lunatic in the greater Pomona Valley! (California)

We had about 8 inches here, a couple of years back, and I nearly went nuts after about the third day! I liked up till then, but after that, well, enough is enough!
      😀

So how about that? Go on; say something!
