Photo Friday: Dining Room Edition

I see this every day in my dining room.

Doggy Pinball!

Doggie-PinballNoodle has quite the collection of balls and toys to choose from.

His favorite is the red one, but he collects all of them here under the dining table.

Insatiable, always entertaining, it’s the Noodle!

Noodle-Wear~Today he is sporting his new winter wear I made for him yesterday~

It just occurred to me — Noodle might be noodling for his toys under that table. Do people noodle in your area? I can’t think of anything worse than sticking my hand up to the elbow in an underwater hole that might have a catfish, but that might have a snake, or worse.

Anyway, your Noodle looks great. I like his coat, and I like your dining room rug, too.

I had never heard of this before you mentioned it, Linda. With poisonous water snakes everywhere I’m not so sure I would be willing to try it either! (And don’t forget about those snapping turtles here-a-bouts too. YIKES!

Thank you, and it seems there is a consensus that the dining room rug is a hit. πŸ˜€

Fleece! For Doggy wear it is always fleece because it is easy to sew, very warm, inexpensive, and can be laundered many times. Did I mention it is inexpensive? πŸ˜‰ I do need to make him a lightweight one to wear inside. He keeps pushing the register covers off the registers so he can lay on them during the day. It must be his proximity to the floor or those toothpicks he has for legs. Hm. Maybe he needs Doggy Leggings! πŸ˜€
I’m glad you like it, Kate.

Very smart! And I’d pay good money to see him tricked out in doggy legwarmers! But what is a register? Is it a sort of heating vent (wild guess due to context)? Clearly not something we have or need down here….

        • Lynda says:

The registers are the openings in the floor for the forced heating and air. They are always located up against a wall or under a window. 😦 That means that the outer edges and the ceiling always get all that hot/cold air and the middle of the room doesn’t benefit. I bought register covers (curved plastic thingies) to force the air to go out into the room. And, I am making ONE leg warmer and slipping it on as an experiment… if he leaves it on, then he gets three more pronto! And Kate, you won’t even have to pay good money to see that! I’ll be showing him off for free. LOL!

Thank you, Annie! I think he likes it too. Tucker never liked his coats and sweaters. He was always trying to rub them off and often succeeded! πŸ˜€

So how about that? Go on; say something!
