Tom, when the oaks leaf out I will no longer be able to see the sun so early in the morning. They are very tall trees. I will have to wait for fall to return. I never knew how much I loved the early sunrise view till we moved here, and yet, being surrounded by woods has its own reward.

Is that a vernal pool, the water between the trees, Lynda,or is there all year?
Mostly all year, but occasionally we get a bit droughtish and it does go to sloggy mud hole.
