“A little row of smiling sunny faces…” to feed next week’s murder of crows. This is a fun pattern, Kate. It’s called And So it Crows, by Karen Walker. I love her style. Although, making 18, one inch, half square triangles for 8 sunflowers was almost more like torture. But they are done and I am liking the result. Theoretically, the rest of the assembly will be less tedious.
A little row of smiling sunny faces 🙂

Ah… ‘theoretically’. Hopefully the rest of the assembly won’t be quite so demanding?
Yes, I think…
Although, having just Googled the pattern, I somehow doubt it!
LOL! I’ll keep you posted!
I’ve always liked, “a murder of crows.” 😀 Sounds awesome. Can’t wait to see next week’s post!
Joanne, it is a lovely design and I am anxious to leave behind all those little 1/2 sq triangles and move on to the business of Crow making. 😀
We still have a few real sunflowers in Austin. I hope you do there too.
Lots of 6 ft tall goldenrod, but I haven’t noticed any sunflowers. 🙂
Have you rendered any goldenrods in fabric?
No, not yet. I see them embroidered!
